Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!!! When did you guys get on tumblr?? Welcome! I've been checking you guys out on your website for a while now. I am a fan of your style. Keep up the good work! Check out my blog when you get a chance, and let me know what you think..
We joined tumblr a week after we launched the site. We’ve been pretty happy using it and seeing how we can reach the tumblr blogs, while still driving traffic back to our site. Thanks for the warm remarks, we’ll check yours out!
I like the fit or your shirts and was just wondering if you could tell me what size you normally wear in Jcrew's shirtings; if you could also tell me your height and weight for reference it would be greatly appreciated. Im 510 150 and im in between sizes at the moment. I find Jcrews xsmall are to tight underneath the arms but i think the small doesnt look as flattering when tucked in. Any opinions or input would help. Thanks.
We all wear a “Small” in J.CREW shirting to fit both torso, arms and length for an all around decent fit. It’s no Gitman, Baldwin or Scotch & Soda, which fit the best that we’ve been able to get our hands on, but we managed. Jeff wears an XS in J.CREW shirting and just rolls the sleeves but gets a great fit in the torso at 6’2 & 150lbs but wears a S regularly. Cam wears a S in J.CREW and they fit like a glove on his body being more muscular/fit because of all the #tigerblood he consumes. 6’1 & 160lbs. Seth wears a S in J.CREW, also. He’s at 5’8 and about 150lbs soaking wet clothed. You should look into some other contemporary shirting options if you wanting to spend a little more dough, like Gitman Brothers, Scotch&Soda, Baldwin, Steven Alan, GANT and Life/After/Denim.
A gentleman believes in right and wrong and says so boldly and supports his convictions with action. And when he stops loving her, he either gets out before it’s too late, or he sticks around because he promised he would, because a gentleman knows when and how to prioritize his own happiness.
I have known a few gentlemen in my life, and when I meet one, he never leaves without taking all the air out of the room with him.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I love your blog; feel it reflects a lot with my own personal style. Honoured to have you following me.
P.S. love the out-takes shot. Candid photos of laughter are my favourite.
Glad you liked the out-takes. Those are some of the best shots sometimes, ironically enough.
What I Wore posted a link to this men’s fashion blog which I’ve spent the past 20 minutes perusing. It’s refreshing to see a bunch of normal Midwestern guys participating in fashion. I’m all about their worn-in Sperrys, skinny ties, selvedge and button-ups.
